Designed to provided guests the opportunity to visit the world renowned Waitomo Caves. Our flight will take us in a westerly direction out to the west coast we turn south and fly down the coast passing over the beach town of Raglan and then inland over Taharoa to arrive at Waitomo Caves. There are number of options open to once you are in Waitomo.

Once airborne we fly south-west directly to Waitomo Caves passing over rural townships and farm lands located in the Waikato Region. A stop is made at Waitomo Caves for you to experience the glowworm caves. We then head south-east over Lake Taupo, New Zealand’s target lake landing at Taupo Airport. There is the opportunity to explore the lakeside resort centre, plus we will take a short drive outside the centre to visit Huka Falls and Craters of the Moon Thermal park. Once airborne from Taupo we travel north-east flying over the Blue & Green Lakes, Rotorua onto Te Puke, the kiwifruit growing district then turning north we will arrive back Omokoroa.
The spectacular Coromandel Peninsular and mountain range stretches from just north of Omokoroa. There are beautiful places in the world, only a selection can be described as special and unique - the Coromandel Peninsular is one of these. With a thousand natural hideaways to enjoy, beautiful beaches, dramatic rainforests and viewed from the air is truly unique experience. We will circumnavigate the peninsular today flying north over the gold mining town of Waihi and then following the coastal beaches toward Whale Cove and turning to land at Cooks Beach to allow the opportunity to visit Cathedral Cove located at the northern end of Hahei beach. This is a one-hour walking track that leads you along the cliff top before descending to Cathedral Cove - named for its majestic arched cavern that passes through white rock headland to join two secluded coves.
Two hour either side of low tide you can bathe in a hot pool that you’ve dug yourself. Dig around - find a hot water source - lay back and soak up the surroundings. (caution the water can be scalding hot ) Unique to Hot Water Beach.
After this break, once airborne we continue our flight journey along the coast line tracking over Opito Bay reaching the top of the Coromandel's turning at Port Jackson to come down the western side of the peninsular to the township of Coromandel where we will spend some time. Historic Coromandel is haven for talented artists and craftspeople who are inspired not only by the tranquil atmosphere, but also the spectacular natural surroundings.
The village has unique character, soul and ambience reflecting art, heritage. The discovery of gold at Driving Creek in 1852 brought a boom to Coromandel Town and this has been retained with the rich stock of serving heritage buildings.
Home grown cuisine is in abundance from its raw form to elegantly cooked and served at the many restaurants. If you love mussels - then you will find some of the best at Coromandel Mussel Farm.
Our journey back to the Omokoroa will see us pass by Thames, Paeroa cutting through the Karangahake Gorge over Waihi before landing at the Ātaahua Villa.

We continue onto the Great Barrier Island tracking along the east coast past Medkands Beach and onto Claris, where the main airport is located. There are a number of options open for touring this beautiful island which can be discussed with our Concierge. Leaving Claris we will fly around the northern tip of the sailed coming back of the beautiful harbour of Fitzroy - Whangaparpara Bay then crossing over the Coville channel, the stretch of water between the island and the top of the Coromandels. We then track toward Port Jackson and then onto the township of Coromandel where we will spend some time.

This flight journey is in a different direction. Once airborne we will track over the city of Tauranga and then heading along the coast a
short distance to Whakatane then head east over the bay to view the most active volcano in New Zealand, White Island. (we are not permitted to land).
We then turn south and head to the most eastern tip of the New Zealand - East Cape (landing possible option).
From there we come down the coast to Tokomaru & Tolga Bay (possible short stop). From the coast regions we then head west to Lake Taupo.
Balance of day is spent in a around Taupo with the opportunity to visit Huka Falls, Crater of the Moon Thermal park.
Leaving Taupo we will pass by Rotorua before arriving back into Omokoroa and Ātaahua Villa .
This is all about wine & food. Really designed just to relax at a vineyard, enjoy the wine and food and taking in the atmosphere and surrounding.

Napier and the maxing wines produced in the Hawkes Bay region, one of the premium producing wine growing regions in New Zealand. This excursion is about relaxing and enjoying a day in a magical region of the New Zealand.
The flight from Omokoroa will take us over the kiwifruit region, mountains and huge expanses of native and commercial forests. The return journey we will fly along the coast, around east Cape and then directly across to Omokoroa and Ātaahua Villa.
By far the longest of our private excursions as we leave the Bay of Plenty and head to Northland. This journey does require an early start to the day to ensure you have the maximum time available in Northland.
Departing Omokoroa we head directly to Great Barrier island tracking along the western side of the island passing between the Great Barrier and Little Barrier island in the direction of Cape Brett. The flight will take us along the eastern shores of Northland. On reaching Cape Brett you will have the opportunity to view the Hole in the Rock before we continue across to Paihia
We spend some time at Paihia allowing you the opportunity to take the ferry across to Russell, the first Capital of New Zealand.
Leaving Paihia we take a short flight north to Kauri Cliffs Lodge and golf course where you will enjoy lunch.
The next stage of your journey around Northland we cross over to the west-coast flying down to Waipuna where we stop to visit the Waipuna Kauri Forest.
The return journey to Omokoroa will see us fly down the west coast before turning east, possible just south of the Manukau Heads and heading directly to Omokoroa and Ātaahua Villa.
